Badlands BBQ Marinade

1½ quarts | red wine |
½ quart | balsamic vinegar |
2 sprigs | fresh rosemary |
2 tbsp | fresh basil, chopped |
8 cloves | garlic, minced |
1 piece | fresh ginger root, about 1" |
1 | jalapeño pepper |
2 tbsp | ground pepper |
Place all ingredients into a blender and process until herbs are chopped fine, but some chunks remain.
Store in a cool place.
