Shortbread

4oz100gButter
2oz50gCaster Sugar
8oz225gPlain Flour

Mix all the ingredients together to form a crumbly dough pour onto a tray and form into your preferred shape about 1.5 to 2 cm thick and mark out your slices with a knife (so you can snap it easily). Sprinkle a bit more sugar over the top and chuck in the oven for 20 mins at 160°C (320°F).

For a bit of variety you can add lemon or orange zest to your dough as well
